CollageIt Software Review and Giveaway

So today I thought I would share a photo of my first attempt of using the CollageIt software by PearlMountain Soft. I would have to say that making this collage was effortless.  I was amazed with this software.  It comes with pre-made templates that you get to select from.  Then all you have to do is drag the photos you want to use into the program from your computer photo folder.  For the collage above I just took some photos of the items from my shop Angie Gets Crafty.

There are many options that you can play with including suffling the photos, drag and drop to where you want them located, page set-up, background color, distance between pictures, rotation angle and other options.

It is easy to share your photos where you please as you can see I was able to add to blogger without any hassle.  Also ended up sharing on my Facebook and Pinterest with ease. With this software you can easily make custom gifts such as a shirt, calendar or canvas for the grandparents, promote a store and so many other uses.

So for the good news the people at PearlMountain Soft have offered 10 of my readers a copy of the CollageIt Pro Version.  If you can not wait to try out the product you can always try the trial version.  Don't want to risk not winning your copy they actually sell this software for only $19.90.  With the trial version you get to play with the software and get an idea about how it works.  With the paid (or won) version you get extra benefits such as remove watermark on the collage and no more annoying splash screen, you can crop photo, remove size limit, FREE lifetime support and they offer 30-day Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee.

So far I am really loving this software.  It is so easy to use and affordable.  With sites out there like Groupon always offering discounts on canvas print, photo books and such getting ready for the holidays will be ubber easy.  The template I used above is one of the busier ones, so if it is too much for your taste there are much simpler templates.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. a Rafflecopter giveaway

4th of July Party Games Pack Review and Giveaway

Sorry it has been awhile since I have been able to report to the masses. I had computer problems it started with the need of a new AC adapter and ended with a faulty motherboard but after the third installed motherboard I am back. And I am back with a review and a giveaway. Luckily I was able to print before all the fun with the computer had occurred.

Recently, I had the opportunity to review Python Printables’ Independence Day Games. The printable games were delivered via email direct from the company. There is a wide variety of games to download with this package. \

4th of July Party Games Pack:
  •     4th of July Games: Independence Day Trivia.
  •     4th of July Printable Games: Synonyms Word Game.
  •     Adult Birthday Game: Pick The Party Stars.
  •     Adult Birthday Game: The Color of Music.
  •     Adult Birthday Games: Meet Your Match.
  •     American History Game.
  •     Baseball Trivia Quiz.
  •     BBQ Fast Food Facts Game.
  •     Beer Quiz: US Beer Trivia Match.
  •     Beers Of The World Trivia Placemat.
  •     Happy Independence Day Left-Right Game.
  •     Independence Day Games: Mad-Libness word game.
  •     Independence Day games: Red, White And Blue Scavenger Hunt.
  •     Military History Trivia game.
  •     Patriotic trivia: American History matching game.
  •     Presidential Trivia.
  •     State Nicknames Trivia Game.
  •     Survival of the Fittest Party Game.
  •     Tangled Tongue Twisters Tango.

I ended up taking some of these games to a fathers day BBQ that we had. One of the funner ones was the Survival of the Fittest Party Game. This game takes advantage of funny situations. You print out several task tiles such as:

The game has you taking two tasks and challenging you to do them at once. This turned into a sight, a funny sight.

One of the other items I took to the festivities was the 4th of July Games: Independence Day Trivia. These were actually quite difficult set of 15 questions. As it was it was quite dull. If I had time to organize something I would have done something similar to a Jeopardy board with the different trivia games provided make it something more appropriate for a BBQ.

I do have to say one item that I was not so pleased with was the price. At $19.95 I feel that I could create these games with free trivia/ideas from the internet. Although I might just think that because I have seen the games, maybe if I had not seen the games I would have never thought of ways to recreate them. So it might be good for someone that needs something quick and does not have the time or creativity to develop their own game. For $19.95, you get unlimited access to the games 20 games to download and print over & over again.

Now for the giveaway. The great people at Python have offered one of Angie Gets Crafty readers a 4th of July Party Games Pack. Follow the Rafflecopter directions, they will be verified.

I did receive one Independence Day Game Package for free in the hopes that we’d write a review. I was under no obligation to write a positive review. No other compensation was received. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. Playing around for the 4th of July

I was playing with designs for the 4th of July....  In my yarn collection I found a red sparkly yarn, a white sparkly yarn and a two tone blue yarn.  I was so excited when I remembered that I bought a bunch of military buttons at a thrift store. Let me know what you think.

June is HHT Awareness Month

Since June is HHT awareness month that is one reason that I picked the HHT Foundation as one of my charities of the month.  Another large reason is because my family has lived with the devastating affects of HHT.  It was just a couple of years ago that we found out that HHT ran in our family.  The HHT Foundation has been great helping providing information to us about the disorder.  Please take a moment and watch the new awareness video launched earlier this year.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.  If you would like further information on HHT please visit the HHT Foundation website.
